    Brief Description

A filling Italian soup with sausage, pasta, and vegetables.

    Main Ingredient:

    sausage

    Category:  Soups

    Cuisine:  Italian

    Prep Time: 10 min
    Cook Time: 30 min

    Notes

I often substitute black beans or pinto beans for the kidney beans; almost any type of bean works well. And I frequently throw in other vegetables such as green beans or corn or whatever might be on hand along with a little extra broth. And if I need to make it early in the day, I'll mix it together and then put in crockpot to keep warm until dinner time.
