  • 4 - large onions, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups - chicken bone broth
  • 2 cups - beef bone broth
  • 4 tablespoons - ghee
  • 5 cloves - garlic, chopped
  • - goat cheese, optional, for topping
  • Directions:

    In a large pot over medium heat, melt ghee and cook thinly sliced onions until lightly caramelized.

    Add bone broths and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Bring mixture to a boil and then reduce heat; allow to simmer for 30 to 50 minutes (the longer it simmers, the more flavor it has).
