Ingredients:

Cake
  • 1/2 cups - soft botter
  • 1 1/3 cups - sugar
  • 3 - eggs
  • 2 cups - flour
  • 1 teaspoons - baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons - numeg
  • 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  • 1 cups - buttermilk (or sour milk)
  • Topping
  • 6 tablespoons - butter
  • 1/4 cups - light cream
  • 1/2 cups - brown sugar
  • 1/2 cups - coconut or chopped walnuts
  • Directions:

    For Cake:
    Mix together all of cake ingredients. Bake in greased 13 by 9 inch pan at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes.

    For Topping:
    Mix together butter, cream, brown sugar and coconut or walnuts. Bring to a boil and pour over hot cake. Bake for 5 minutes.

    May serve with whipped cream.
