Mexican Rice Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 1 cloves - garlic, cut in halves
  • 2 tablespoons - vegetable oil
  • 1 cups - uncooked long grain rice
  • 2 cups - chicken broth
  • 1/4 cups - red chile sauce
  • Directions:

    Cook and stir garlic in oil in 2 quart sauce pan over medium heat until brown; remove garlic.

    Cook and stir rice in oil until golden, about 5 minutes. Stir in chicken broth and chile sauce; heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

    Reduce heat, cover, and let simmer for 20 minutes (do not lift cover and stir during this time).
