Maple French Toast Bake Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 12 slices - bread, cubed
  • 8 ounces - cream cheese, cubed
  • 8 - eggs
  • 1 cups - milk
  • 1/2 cups - maple syrup
  • - additional maple syrup or favorite fruit syrup, for serving with
  • Directions:

    Arrange half of bread cubes in greased shallow 2-quart (or 9-x-11-inch) baking dish.

    Top with the cream cheese and remaining bread.

    In a bowl, whisk eggs milk, and syrup; pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

    Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.

    Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes. Uncover; bake 20 to 25 minutes more until golden brown.

    Serve with additional syrup.
