Lemon Thyme Hummus Tell a Friend

  • 8 cups - canned chickpeas
  • 8 cloves - garlic, peeled
  • 3 teaspoons - salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons - pepper
  • 1/2 cups - tahini (sesame paste)
  • - juice of 5 lemons
  • 5 tablespoons - chickpea liquid
  • 5 dashes - hot sauce
  • Topping
  • 1 tablespoons - chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoons - olive oil
  • Directions:

    Drain chickpeas and reserve five tablespoons of liquid in separate bowl. Set aside.

    Place garlic cloves in food processor and pulse until minced.

    Add in all remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Add more salt and pepper if needed.

    Pour hummus into your temp-tations 2 quart bowl and sprinkle with fresh thyme and olive oil.

    Serve with pita bread, crackers or veggies.
