  • 1 whole - Chicken, Cut into pieces
  • - Butter, as needed*, *Could use olive oil
  • 1/2 cups - Chopped onion
  • 1/2 cups - Dry white wine
  • 2 teaspoons - Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoons - Paprika
  • 1/2 cups - Sour cream or whipping cream
  • - Hot, buttered noodles
  • Directions:

    1. Saute chicken in butter on both sides in a Dutch oven until brown over medium high heat. Remove chicken from heat and keep warm in oven.

    2. In the Dutch oven add chopped onion to butter, cover and cook onions until transparent and slightly browning. Add more butter, as necessary, to cook onions.

    3. To cooked onions, add dry white wine, lemon juice and paprika. Let simmer for a few minutes.

    4. Add chicken back to Dutch oven, cover and cook until chicken is done, about 35-40 min. As chicken is cooking, you may need to add more wine.

    5. Before serving, add whipping or sour cream. Let heat together but do not boil.

    6. Serve over hot, buttered noodles.
