Jamaican Barbecue Sauce Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups - Apple-cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons - Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 teaspoons - Lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons - Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoons - prepared yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoons - liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoons - garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoons - Cayenne pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoons - Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoons - Flavor enhancer, *See note below
  • 1 cups - Ketchup
  • 1/2 cups - Tomato puree
  • Directions:

    Mix all of the ingredients together. A blender may be used but be sure to dissolve all the brown sugar. Put sauce inot a clear container with a tightfitting lid - a clear mayo or spaghetti-sauce jar is perfect.

    This sauce needs to be stored in the refrigerator or used immediately.
