Ingredients:

Brownies
  • 3/4 cups - all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  • 6 tablespoons - butter
  • 3 ounces - baking chocolate
  • 3/4 cups - sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  • 2 ounces - Jack Daniels whiskey
  • Glaze
  • 1 cups - powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons - boiling water
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons - Jack Daniels whiskey
  • 1/8 teaspoons - vanilla
  • 1 tablespoons - cocoa powder
  • Directions:

    For Brownies:

    Mix together flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.

    Melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler over simmering water. Remove from heat; add sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour mixture and whiskey. Mix well.

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Pour batter into a greased 8×10 inch pan. Bake for approximately 25 minutes or until firm.

    For Glaze:

    Combine all glaze ingredients, stirring until smooth. Brush or pour over baked brownies.
