Honey Sesame Brisket Sandwiches Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds - Corned Beef Brisket
  • 1/2 cups - Low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons - Sesame Oil
  • 3/4 cups - Honey
  • 2 tablespoons - Dry Vermouth
  • 4 cloves - Garlic, minced
  • 1 pieces - Fresh Ginger root, minced
  • 1 cans - Stewed tomatoes, juiced reserved; 14.5 ounces
  • 4 - Sesame-topped sandwich buns
  • Directions:

    Place brisket, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, vermouth, garlic, ginger and tomatoes in slow cooker; cover. Cook on low setting until meat is tender, about 10 hours. Shred meat, using 2 forks. Reserve remaining juice. Divide meat among buns. Serve with juice on the side.
