Homemade Granola Crunch Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 1 cups - bran flakes
  • 3 cups - old fashioned oats
  • 1 cups - flaked coconut
  • 1 cups - coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cups - wheat germ
  • 1/2 cups - brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoons - cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoons - salt
  • 1/2 cups - vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cups - water
  • 2 tablespoons - honey
  • 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  • 1 cups - raisins
  • 1 cups - coarsely chopped dates
  • 1/2 cups - banana chips
  • Directions:

    Combine in a large bowl the bran flakes, oats, coconut, pecans, wheat germ, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt.

    In a small bowl combine water, honey and vanilla; pour over oat mixture and mix well.

    Spread mixture evenly on greased jelly-roll pan. Bake at 300 degrees F for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes until brown.

    Cool in pan; stir in raisins, dates and banana chips.

    Store in airtight container.
