Green Beans with Walnuts and Lemon Tell a Friend

  • 2 cups - water
  • 1 pounds - fresh green beans, stringed, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • - zest of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons - butter
  • 1 tablespoons - or more fresh lemon juice
  • - salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cups - walnuts, toasted and chopped
  • Directions:

    Steam green beans over water for 8 minutes.

    Place in bowl and toss with lemon zest, juice, salt and pepper.

    Sprinkle walnuts over and serve.
