Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds - ground beef
  • 1 teaspoons - cinnamon
  • 2 - large onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons - Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoons - chili powder
  • 1 teaspoons - chili powder
  • 1 teaspoons - black pepper
  • 1 tablespoons - salt
  • 1 teaspoons - red pepper
  • 1 cans - tomato paste, 6 oz.
  • 1 tablespoons - vinegar
  • 5 cups - water
  • 1 teaspoons - allspice
  • 3 - bay leaves
  • 1 teaspoons - cumin, optional
  • 2 cloves - garlic, minced, optional
  • - shredded colby cheese, if desired, for garnish
  • Directions:

Do not brown meat. Place water in pan, crumble meat into water, and add all other ingredients; simmer for 4-5 hours.

As this slowly simmers, it will become very thick. After this occurs, remove all the bay leaves and allow to cool a bit. Then put mixture through the blender or use a blender stick to blend in pan.
Skim off grease on top of ground beef, if needed.
Garnish with cheese, if desired, when serving.
