  • 1 cups - sugar
  • 2 - eggs, separated
  • 1 cups - sweet condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons - flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  • 1 cups - pecans
  • 1 cups - sweetened, cooked raisins
  • 1 - lump of butter about the size of a walnut
  • 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  • - Baked pie crust
  • - additional pecans, for topping
  • Directions:

Stir together the sugar, egg yolks, sweet milk, flour and salt, and cook until mixture thickens.

After it thickens, stir in pecans, raisins, and lump of butter along with vanilla; stir well.

Pour into baked pie crust. Use the 2 eggs whites for the top of the pie (I'm guessing you make a meringue with it?).

Lay the additional pecans on top of the icing and brown in a slow oven.
