  • 4 tablespoons - Butter
  • 1/2 cups - Sugar
  • 1/2 cups - Flour
  • 1/2 cups - Milk
  • 1 teaspoons - Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons - Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons - Cinnamon
  • 2 cups - Fruit or Berries
  • 1/2 cups - Sugar on fruit, if needed
  • - Nutmeg to sprinkle on top
  • Directions:

    Melt butter in square Baking Dish. Mix all remaining ingredients except fruit & nutmeg and pour over melted butter in pan. Cover with fruit. If choose, sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake 350 degrees 35-50 minutes or until brown on top & appears that crust is baked.

    This is an excellent recipe to use for any fruit - Dewberries, blueberries, black berries, peaches, apples, etc. I used home frozen peaches in the picture. I like to sprinkle nutmeg on peaches.
