French Pudding Cake Tell a Friend

  • 5 - egg whites
  • 1 1/2 cups - sugar
  • 30 - soda crackers, rolled fine
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons - vinegar
  • 1 cups - chopped pecans
  • Filling
  • 2 envelopes - Dream Whip
  • 1 packages - 3 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 cups - powdered sugar
  • Topping
  • 1 cans - cherry or blueberry pie filling
  • Directions:

    Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold remaining crust ingredients into beaten egg whites. Pour into buttered and floured 9-x-13-inch pan. Bake at 300 degrees F for 25 minutes. Cool.

    Whip Dream Whip according to package directions. Add cream cheese and powdered sugar; you may have to add a drop or two of milk to make it smooth. Spread over baked crust.

    Cover cake with a can of cherry or blueberry pie filling. Refrigerate.

    Can be made 24 hours before serving.
