French-Fried Cauliflower Tell a Friend

  • 1 heads - cauliflower, cut in serving pieces
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 cups - milk
  • - salt, to taste
  • - flour, enough to make batter thick
  • Directions:

    Cool cauliflower pieces in salted boiling water until half done. Drain well.

    Mix together batter ingredients - egg, milk, salt, and enough flour to make a thick batter.

    Dip pieces of cauliflower into batter and fry in deep fat in frying pan until light brown.

    Brief Description

    Cauliflower pieces dipped in batter and deep fried until lightly browned. Can be made with carrots or green tomatoes, too.
