Fettuccine (or Noodles) with Mushrooms Tell a Friend

  • 1/2 cups - freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 cups - heavy cream
  • 5 tablespoons - butter, divided
  • 1 teaspoons - salt
  • - freshly ground pepper, to taste
  • 12 ounces - fettuccine, uncooked
  • 1/2 pounds - mushrooms
  • - squeeze of lemon juice
  • Directions:

    Place Parmesan, cream, 3 tablespoons of the butter, salt and pepper in a warm bowl (keep warm). (Imperative! Place ingredients in bowl Before adding pasta).

    Cook pasta al dente.

    Meanwhile, saute mushrooms in 2 tablespoons of butter rapidly; add a squeeze of lemon juice and salt.

    Mix mushrooms with pasta, and add to other ingredients. Toss quickly.

    Serve with additional Parmesan.
