Easy Truffles Tell a Friend

  • 18 ounces - semisweet chocolate
  • 1 cans - 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoons - rum extract
  • - finely chopped nuts, coconut, optional, for rolling
  • - cinnamon, chocolate or colored sprinkles, optional, for rolling
  • Directions:

    In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate with sweetened condensed milk; stir occasionally.

    Remove from heat and stir in rum extract. Chill for 2 hours.

    Shape into 3/4-inch balls and roll in any of the above coatings (nuts, coconut, cinnamon, cocoa or sprinkles).

    Chill for 1 hour before serving.

    Will keep for 1 week in an airtight container in refrigerator.
