Dairy Free Almond Apple Pancakes Tell a Friend

  • 1 - egg
  • 1 1/2 cups - almond or rice milk
  • 1/4 cups - applesauce
  • 1 3/4 cups - oat or whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1/2 cups - almonds, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoons - aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons - sea salt
  • Directions:

    1. Mix egg, milk and applesauce in a medium-size bowl.

    2.Mix flour, almonds, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.

    3. Combine dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.

    4. Mix until dry ingredients are moistened.

    5. Using a 1/4 – 1/2 cup measuring cup drop pancake batter onto a lightly oiled skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides.

    6. Serve warm with maple syrup or honey.
