Cinnamon Sugar Pecans Tell a Friend

  • 1 - egg white
  • 2 teaspoons - water
  • 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  • 1 pounds - pecan halves
  • 1 cups - white sugar (OR splenda)
  • 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  • 1 teaspoons - ground cinnamon
  • Directions:

    Preheat oven to 250 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with cooking spray.

    In a mixing bowl, whip together egg white, water and vanilla until frothy.

    In a separate bowl, mix together sugar, salt and cinnamon.

    Using a rubber spatula, stir pecans into egg whites, coating the nuts evenly. Gently stir in the sugar mix, stirring until nuts are well-coated.

    Spread the nuts on the prepared baking sheet, and bake in preheated oven for 1 hour (stirring every 15 minutes).

    Let cool completely at room temperature; store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
