Chocolate Chip Cookies Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 1 cups - margarine or butter
  • 3/4 cups - sugar
  • 3/4 cups - brown sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoons - vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups - flour
  • 1 teaspoons - baking soda
  • 1 teaspoons - salt
  • 2 1/2 cups - chocolate chips
  • Directions:

    Beat together margarine or butter with sugar and brown sugar 'til creamy and smooth. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until well blended. Mix in flour, baking soda and salt all at once and mix til combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheet and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned.

    Notes

    Refrigerating the cookie dough for an hour or so before baking will make cookies puff up a little more when baking.
