All cookies are not created equal. Miss Arlene challenged our thinking when she delivered a plate of these cookies to our home when our kids were little. I couldn't believe it when she agreed to share the recipe with me, because I never thought secret recipes were supposed to be shared!?! She was the best neighbor down the street and we only make these cookies for the most special people in our life - and we will always share the recipe and give credit to Miss Arlene.
