Chili Casserole Tell a Friend

  • 1 pounds - ground beef
  • 1/2 cups - chopped onion
  • 16 ounces - kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 15 ounces - tomato sauce
  • 14 1/2 ounces - stewed tomatoes, undrained
  • 1/4 teaspoons - garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoons - chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
  • 2 cups - cooked noodles
  • - Shredded monterey jack or cheddar cheese optional
  • Directions:

    In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in the beans, tomato sauce, tomatoes, garlic powder, chili powder, salt and pepper. Simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Stir in noodles; heat through. Top with shredded monterey jack or cheddar cheese, if desired.
