Chicken Sausage in Puff Pastry with Bagel Seasoning Tell a Friend

  • 6 - fully cooked chicken sausage links
  • 1 - sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 2 tablespoons - Dijon mustard
  • 1 - egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoons - to 2 Tbsp Trader Joe's Everything But the Bagel seasoning
  • 1/2 cups - mayonnaise, for dipping sauce
  • 2 tablespoons - Dijon or favorite mustard, for dipping sauce
  • Directions:

    Pat sausage dry with paper towels. Unroll puff pastry on lightly floured work surface. Cut pastry into six equal pieces.

    Lightly brush pastry with Dijon mustard. Roll up one sausage link in the pastry, making sure the edges seal. Repeat with remaining puff pastry and sausages.

    Place on a plate and chill in the freezer for 15 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 425° F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Brush rolls with beaten egg and sprinkle all over with bagel seasoning. Cut each roll into 5 or 6 pieces; place seam side down on baking sheet.

    Bake for 25 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Remove from oven and serve warm or at room temperature with dipping sauce, if desired.

    For Dipping Sauce:
    In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and preferred mustard. Chill until serving.
