Cheeseburgers on Sandwich Buns Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds - lean ground beef
  • - salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoons - black pepper
  • 8 ounces - Velveeta cheese, diced
  • 2 tablespoons - milk
  • 1 - green bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1 - small onion, diced
  • 2 - garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 - sandwich buns
  • Directions:

    In a large skillet, brown ground beef, salt and pepper until thoroughly cooked.

    Drain.

    In a 3 1/2 to 4 quart crock pot, combine cooked ground beef and all remaining ingredients except buns; mix well.

    Cover and cook on low setting for 6 hours.

    To serve, spoon mixture onto sandwich buns.

    A large quantity of this could be made and kept warm in the crockpot when you are entertaining guests.
