  • 1 pounds - ground beef
  • 1 - medium onion
  • 2 cups - water
  • 2/3 cups - ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons - mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  • 1/8 teaspoons - pepper
  • 2 cups - minute rice
  • 4 ounces - cheddar cheese
  • Directions:

    Brown meat and onion in a large skillet on medium-high heat; drain.
    Stir in water, ketchup, mustard, and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice; cover.
    Remove from heat, let stand 5 minutes.
    Fluff with fork, cover with cheese.
    Bake to melt cheese.

      i just was looking at the cheeseburger rice casserole and i couldn’t find a temp. setting for the oven? will 350 work?

      Since you’re just baking it long enough to melt the cheese, a higher temp will get it done a little more quickly without doing any damage. I’d recommend 400 degrees F for about 5 – 7 minutes or you could put it under the broiler for 3 to 5 minutes. That should do it!
