Cheese Fondue Tell a Friend

  • 1/2 cups - milk
  • 1 pounds - shredded white American or Swiss cheese
  • 3 ounces - cream cheese, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons - flour
  • 1/2 cups - water
  • 1/2 teaspoons - minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons - ground nutmeg
  • Directions:

    In a medium saucepan, combine milk, white cheese, cream cheese and flour. Stir constantly over medium heat until thickened.

    Add water, stirring constantly, until sauce reaches desired consistency. Add garlic, salt and nutmeg.

    Serve with bread cubes, ham, cooked chicken, or quartered new potatoes.
