  • 8 ounces - cream cheese
  • 1/4 pounds - blue cheese, grated
  • 1/4 pounds - smoked (or sharp) cheese, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoons - garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
  • - port or red wine
  • - chopped nuts
  • Directions:

    Let cheeses sit out to soften at room temperature.

    Cream all together with small splashes of port (or wine), keeping mixture thick.

    Add spices; cream well. Roll into log and cover with chopped nuts. Refrigerate for several hours.

    Serve with assorted crackers or melba toast.
