  • 1/2 cups - yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cups - apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cups - packed light brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons - mustard powder
  • 2 teaspoons - hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoons - worcestershire sauce
  • - salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons - unsalted butter, melted
  • 8 - chicken tenderloins, skinless, boneless
  • - vegetable oil, for brushing
  • Directions:

    Whisk together yellow mustard, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard powder, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon salt and some pepper to taste in a bowl. Stir in melted butter and whisk until thoroughly combined.
    Season chicken with salt and pepper; toss chicken with about 1/3 of mustard sauce in large bowl (or plastic ziploc bag) until well coated. Let sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes.
    After heating grill to medium heat, brush or spray grill grates with vegetable oil. Place about 1/4 cup of remaining mustard sauce in small bowl for basting and reserve rest of the sauce for topping. Grill chicken, covered, basting occasionally with sauce, until well marked and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
    Serve chicken with reserved mustard sauce.
