Cannoli – Deep Fried Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

Shells
  • 6 whole - Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons - Butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons - Sugar
  • 1/3 cups - Wine
  • 3 1/2 cups - Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
  • 1 teaspoons - Baking Powder
  • Filling
  • 2 pounds - Ricotta
  • 1 cups - Confectioners Sugar
  • 3 whole - Hershey Bar w/Almonds, chopped
  • 1 pints - Whipping Cream
  • Directions:

    Beat Eggs, Butter, Sugar and Wine together.
    Sift together Flour, Salt and Baking Powder.
    Mix the Flour mixture into the Egg Mixture.
    Roll out and cut. Roll onto forms. Fry in fryer or oil at at temp of 350- 375 F until golden brown. Fill as needed.

    For the filling, beat Ricotta, add Sugar and fold in chopped Hershey bar. Add Whipping cream slowly, adding just enough to make creamy.
