Butterfinger Torte Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 1 pounds - angel food cake, broken into bite size pieces
  • 1/2 cups - butter
  • 2 cups - powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons - vanilla
  • 4 - egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 pints - whipping cream
  • 6 - Butterfinger candybars, crushed, divided
  • Directions:

    Cream together butter, powdered sugar, vanilla and egg yolks.

    Whip the whipping cream. Combine with creamed butter mixture above.

    Spread 1/2 of angel food cake pieces on bottom of 9-x-13-inch pan. Spread 1/2 of butter and cream mixture over the cake pieces. Crush 3 Butterfinger bars over top of cream.

    Repeat layers with rest of cake, cream mixture and 3 more Butterfinger bars (crushed).

    Chill for several hours or overnight.
