Ingredients:

  • 2 cups - bran flakes
  • 2 cups - boiling water
  • 1 cups - margarine or butter
  • 3 cups - white sugar
  • 4 - eggs
  • 4 cups - all-bran
  • 5 teaspoons - baking soda
  • 6 cups - flour (can be 1/2 whole wheat)
  • 3/4 cups - molasses
  • 4 cups - buttermilk
  • Directions:

    Mix all ingredients as listed in extremely large bowl.

    Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes.

    This batter can keep up to 6 weeks in the refrigerator; enjoy fresh bran muffins each morning.
