Blue Cheese and Walnut Spread Tell a Friend

  • 4 ounces - to 6 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cups - chopped walnuts
  • - coarse salt and ground pepper
  • 4 ounces - (1 cup) cold crumbled Stilton blue cheese
  • - crackers or crostini, for serving with
  • Directions:

    In a medium bowl, stir cream cheese with wooden spoon until softened (I started with whipped lite cream cheese).

    Mix in walnuts; season with salt and pepper. Gently fold in blue cheese, breaking up as little as possible.

    Transfer mixture to a small bowl; smooth top. Serve with crackers or crostini.

    Store covered with plastic wrap and refrigerated for up to one week.
