Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups - cake flour
  • 3/4 cups - all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons - baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons - baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  • 1 sticks - butter, diced
  • 3/4 cups - buttermilk, (can make this with 2 Tbsp vinegar plus enough milk to make 3/4 cup)
  • Directions:

    Combine dry ingredients.

    Dice up the butter and cut it into the flour with pastry blender or fork.

    Pour in buttermilk and stir.
    Spread into 14-x-8-inch shape; fold triples.

    Let rise 15 minutes.

    Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes.
