Beef Stroganoff Tell a Friend

  • 2 pounds - Round Steak
  • - Garlic
  • 1 cans - Cream of Mushroom soup
  • 1 cans - Beef Consomme
  • 8 ounces-weight - Sour Cream
  • - Wild Rice
  • Directions:

    Cut steak into strips and brown with the garlic. Simmer meat with consomme at a rapid boil for a while to tenderize the meat, then add the soup and simmer for a little while longer. Just before serving, add sour cream and heat until warm.

    Serve Stroganoff over wild rice.

    Some people serve stroganoff over noodles, but that is a mistake -- it should be served over wild rice.

    Stroganoff can be done in the crock pot, where the slow cooking makes the meat more tender.
