Banana Split Ice Cream Dessert Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cups - graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cups - butter, melted
  • 1/4 cups - sugar
  • 2 - or 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 gallons - ice cream
  • 1 cups - chopped walnuts
  • 1 cups - chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cups - butter
  • 2 cups - 10x powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups - evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  • 1 pints - whipping cream, made into whipped cream
  • 1 cups - graham cracker crumbs
  • Directions:

    Mix 1-3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs with melted butter and sugar. Place in 11-by-15-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes.

    Layer bananas over crust. Slice ice cream in 1/2 and slice; layer over bananas. Sprinkle with walnuts and freeze for 1 hour.

    Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips with butter. Add powdered sugar and evaporated milk; cook until thick and smooth. Add vanilla; cool.

    Pour chocolate mixture over ice cream; freeze until firm.

    Put whipped cream over chocolate. Top with graham cracker crumbs and store in freezer.

    Remove 10 minutes before serving.
