Ingredients:

  • 1 cups - sugar
  • 1 sticks - softened butter
  • 2 - eggs
  • 3/4 cups - whole wheat flour
  • 1 cups - all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons - baking soda
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons - baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoons - salt
  • 3 - mashed bananas
  • - optional add-in: chopped nuts
  • Directions:

    Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs. Whip until fluffy.

    Mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Alternately add dry ingredients and the mashed bananas to the butter batter. Mix well (add nuts).

    Grease 3 mini loaf pans or 1 regular size loaf pan.

    Bake at 350 degrees F for about 35 minutes for the small pans or 55-60 minutes for the larger pan.
