Bacon-Wrapped Water Chestnuts Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds - bacon
  • 3 cans - (8 oz. each) water chestnuts, drained, halved
  • 1 1/2 cups - packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cups - ketchup
  • 3/4 cups - mayonnaise - not light
  • Directions:

    Cut bacon into thirds. Wrap each chestnut and secure with toothpicks.

    Bake, uncovered, in 9-x-13-inch pan at 400 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes. Drain!

    Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients, and pour over water chestnuts. Bake at 400 degrees F for 6 to 8 minutes longer.
