Bacon, Egg and Cheese Toasts Tell a Friend

  • 2 - English muffins, split
  • 8 tablespoons - shredded Gruyere cheese
  • 8 slices - cooked bacon
  • 4 - hard-cooked eggs, sliced
  • Creamy Sauce
  • 1/2 cups - heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoons - Dijon-style mustard
  • 1 teaspoons - Cajun seasoning
  • Toppings
  • - chopped green onion
  • - Cajun seasoning
  • Directions:

    On a baking sheet arrange the split English muffins, cut side up.

    Layer each one with 2 Tbsp. shredded cheese, 2 slices bacon, and 1 sliced egg. Broil for 2 minutes.

    Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the cream, mustard, and Cajun seasoning. Heat until thickened; remove from heat and spoon over toast.

    Top with chopped green onions and Cajun seasoning, if desired.
