Ingredients:

  • 4 cups - flour
  • 2 teaspoons - baking soda
  • 1 teaspoons - salt
  • 2 teaspoons - cinnamon
  • 2 cups - sugar
  • 4 - eggs, beaten
  • 1 cups - vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cups - sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons - vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups - apples, chopped
  • 1 cups - nuts, chopped, optional
  • Directions:

    1. Preheat oven to 350° F.

    2. Sift together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; set aside.

    3. Combine sugar, eggs, oil, sour cream and vanilla, beating well.

    4. Blend into flour mixture.

    5. Fold in apples and nuts (if using) and pour into 2 greased and floured 8-1/2 by 4-1/2 by 2-1/2 inch loaf pans.

    6. Bake 1 hour or until loaves test done.
