  • 1/2 cups - butter, melted
  • 8 ounces - cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoons - garlic powder
  • 2 cups - milk
  • 6 ounces - parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoons - cracked black pepper
  • - parsley, optional
  • - additional garlic, optional
  • Directions:

    In heavy saucepan, melt butter. Add softened cream cheese and whisk until smooth...over medium low heat. Whisk in garlic powder. Whisk in milk, a little at a time. Stir in parmesan and pepper. Remove from heat when desired consistency is achieved. Toss with hot pasta. I used a 12 ounce package of fettucine.
