Alfredo Sauce Tell a Friend

Ingredients:

  • 2 cloves - garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons - butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons - olive oil
  • 2 cups - grated fresh Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups - heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoons - black pepper
  • 1/4 cups - fresh flat-leaf parsley, for garnish
  • Directions:

    In a large saucepan, cook garlic in hot butter and olive oil over medium heat about 1 minutes or until tender; reduce heat to low.

    Add Parmesan cheese, cream, and pepper. Cook and whisk over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and sauce is smooth.

    Toss with hot cooked pasta. Sprinkle with parsley.

    Serve with grilled or braised chicken, as well, if desired. (Just cook chicken pieces while sauce and pasta are cooking, then combine all).
